We’re celebrating European Day of Languages!

NCLE Language Hubs around the country have been celebrating European Day of Languages on 26th September. Check out some of the wonderful activities that were happening to celebrate the beauty of language diversity.

Beeleigh Language Hub has been working to to boost language education in Essex.

Tyne to Tees Language Hub launched a fantastic video to honour the diversity of languages spoken in their school.

Students at Wells Language Hub have taken part in a number of activities such as looking for key quotes in a Spanish translation of Stave 1 of A Christmas Carol and learning key Maths terminology in German.

Kinder Language Hub shared a range of different activities to use in the classroom to get students to engage in different languages and cultures.

Specialist teachers at Thames West Language Hub delivered a special presentation on European Day of Languages to an affiliate school. Take a look at how many languages are spoken across their students and teachers!

Students at Trent and Tame Language Hub had extra fun ordering lunch today.

Swanswell Language Hub were promoting this year’s theme for European Day of Languages, “Languages for Peace” with mug decorating and t-shirt designs.
