French Ambassador to the UK visits NCLE Language Hub
On Monday 18 March, the Institut français du Royaume-Uni and Ambassador Hélène Duchêne launched Francophonie on the Road.
This initiative, created to support the National Consortium for Languages Education, a Department for Education programme aimed at promoting foreign modern language learning in England, will offer students from 20 state schools the opportunity to take part in a series of activities promoting the French language.
In March 2024, the roadshow stopped in 5 locations: Newcastle, Lincoln, Birmingham, Solihull and Cheltenham. The first stop was Cardinal Hume Catholic School, NCLE Tyne to Tees Language Hub. Check out the video below to see what this exciting visit involved.
